For several years, I have mounted two Minolta Freedom Tele's bottom to
bottom by using a piece of wood painted black with two screws goin thru
drilled holes that match the diameter of the tripod mount holes on the
cameras. Using some small pieces of adhesive backed rubber padding to
fill in the small gaps. I think it cost me about $3.00 and some time
making it. This might be more liek what you are looking for?
