Thanks Bill, Greg, and Tom for the input on mounting stereo prints
and how to acquire the gospel ;) according to Patterson, Dennis,
and White.
One thing I hope to find among those articles when I finally get
my hands on them is a Gluing 101 remedial self-study course. ;)
I must have been out sick when they taught it in Kindergarten. ;)
In the meantime, would anyone care to share their tips on how best to
glue stereo prints? In the past I have read a recommendation to use
a glue stick, which sounded like a great idea. But I can't figure out
a safe and efficient way to get the glue to the edge of the print.
What inevitably ends up happening is some of the glue finds its way
to the front surface of the print. (The same result seems somewhat
likely with liquid glues also, though possibly not as much.)
I'm also not real thrilled about having to glue both surfaces: the
glue stick I have only makes the print stick to the mat board if I
put glue on both the print and the mat board. What easy to use
adhesives, that only require application to one surface, do stereo
print makers recommend?
Also...is there a safe and effective way to remove glue from the
print surface?
Thanks,
Paul Talbot (equally klutzy with prints and slides)
