     I use photo adhesive.  Spray it on just the back of the photo, and 
it's ready to stick in 60 seconds.  Not gooey.  Doesn't run or drip.  You 
can reposition your photo for 4 - 5 minutes.  Goof up and you can respray.

    2D photographers use this to mount prints, so it's widely available: 
$7 - 10 at a photographic supply store or Office Depot.  One can 
lasts a looonnng time, I'd guess 200 Holmes cards or more.  Photo-safe 
and comes in an aerosol can -- so your views will be around even after 
the ozone hole kills anyone who'd want to look at them.

        One tip:  if you're spraying small prints for Holmes size cards, 
the blast of the aerosol can will likely blow your prints around -- and 
they'll land on the glue covered work surface and get glue on their 
fronts.  So:  hold the can up high, and the photos won't get blown 
around.
