I'm mounting my first set of cards, and I'm using 3M's "#568 Positionable
Mounting Adhesive." It's available from Light Impressions (. It's a
pressure activated adhesive that took a little while for me to get used
to...meaing that this stuff can get on the front of the print too @#$&#!.
But after I figured out how to safely use it, it was a snap to put on.
The stuff comes in a roll 11" x 50' (not cheap...costs $41.75,
cheaper if you buy multiple rolls). Getting it to cover the whole print is
easy, you just plop the photo down onto the roll and cut around the edges
of the print...voila, adhesive cut perfectly to size. The adhesive is
very thin, and transparent.
What's really nice about this stuff is that you can fiddle with the
positioning of the photo after attaching the adhesive to the back of the
photo. And the stuff doesn't make too much of a mess if you're careful.
I ended up with this stuff because the cheaper liquid adhesive they sold
won't stick to Ciba or Ilfachrome prints--just my luck, my prints were
Ilfachrome.

Can't help you here. When this happens to me, I swear a lot and then cut
out a replacement. Always have extra copies handy!
