Hi John-

The term "Paragon," like Kodak's "Ektar," did not denote a particular
lens formulation but a premium lens brand which used a number of
different optical designs depending upon the fl and coverage required. I
know of both triplet and tessar-type Paragon lenses; Ektars came in
triplet, tessar-type, gauss-type and other designs.

I can confirm that the Paragons on Realists are triplets from both
observation and from the Realist manual.
