You sure? Go back 40 years or so and substitute 'colour' for '3d.' Then
thirty more and put in 'Sound.' I'm sure similar arguments were used at
the time. Still hear that said about colour stills in fact.
I've heard it said that the 50's boom was killed by the headaches. (Poor
projection.)
What 3D movies really need I think is a director who understands that you
can do more than just stick sharp things through the window. ;-)
