P3D Re: Imax 3-D Nutcracker

I took the day off today to take the 160 mile round trip to Irvine to
see Nutcracker.

I've always been highly enthusiastic about all the previous Imax 3D
productions, but I'm afraid the Nutcracker will be an exception.  It's a
pity because the potential for a good movie is certainly present.
Somehow though because of poor editing and lousy direction, the thing
really has been fouled up.  The production also suffers from amateurish
acting.

The technical quality of the Imax 3-D system however, still shines
through.
I always come away feeling that sitting through a full length 3-D
feature film in one of these theaters would be no problem at all.

The program included a preview of "Imax 3-D Animation" which was
fantastic.
