This reminds me of the rather famous (Albert Einstein?) quote that if
you have one watch, you know what time it is, but if you have two, you
don't. Or, in the parlance of my own industry (Television/film), if you
standardize on a single reference monitor, you can judge image quality
but as soon as you go to a second monitor, you're nowhere...

Sounds to me like your stereo vision works just fine for you...
