P3D A man with vision

Just got back from the optometrist this afternoon. My new eye prescription
indicates my visual system resembles a Holmes stereoscope: -5.0 and -5.25
diopters, with 65.5 mm interocular. In other words, you normal-sighted folk
can peer through a Holmes and see the world as I do. You'll discover how
beautiful are the Christmas lights without my spectacles. :-) ('course
street lights and headlights look gorgeous, too!)

Now if I could find some lucrative use for being so terribly near-sighted.
Besides gazing at electric lights.

BTW, my Rx is able to correct my vision to 20-15 (at 20 feet, I can read
what normal people have to get 5 feet closer to see). Good news, but at a
price. $$$
   :-(

Robert
