I used to use Wolfe Camera's internet photo service before I got a
scanner. (Sounds kinda like "I used to have a Rambler....until I got a
job.)

I was very pleased with the quality, and the resolution of the scans was
no problem for my web publishing needs. I even had to resample the
image down quite a bit to make the size useable for web publishing.

I don't remember what their resolution was for the internet image, but
it was considerably smaller (they said) than their original scan. They
keep the original larger scan file in order for you to order quality
prints.

I think that internet photo image delivery is great.

Anything beats having to fire Win95 up......
