If this is the same thing I am thinking, "Integrals" are a type of
hologram similar in nature to a motion or 3D lenticular.

You record X number of frames from a movie camera or standard 35mm.

The images are then manipulated into fine lines on a holographic film
and the result is motion 3D, usually lit from behind the image and the
image is curved into 120 or 360 degrees.

There is an example of this in the movie, "Logan's Run", in which Logan
(Michael York) is being interrogated. This image was created by Loyd
Cross, who produced another famous image called "The Kiss".

There is one company I'm familiar with who produces "Integrals" in Miami
Florida, called Holographic Images Inc.

btw~ there are a number of "Integrals" being sold through Edmond
Scientific (The current catalog has a selection of them).

Tom.
