Well, shucks it's too late for me. The past week was kinda hectic
but not too bad (at least for me). I was planning to take some pics
on Saturday, but by then it was all melteddd! :-( It was an awesome
sight to see for sure. Saturday slabs of ice were falling off buildings
and bridges. They had to cordon off the buildings and restrict access to
the bridges. Trees of course looked beautiful in the day and nighttime
but were a hazard. It was reported that this was much worse than the
ice storm of '61 which crippled the city.

In Sunday's paper they had a photo spread of the ice storm and some
of the images were spectacular and I really regretted not getting a
chance of grabbing some shots. But then again, I was more worried
of power failures (not fun in sub-zero climates) and trees crashing
on my roof, etc...!

I did notice that they looked beautiful even at night.

Yeap, there were alot of photo opportunities.

Dale Walsh is from this area. I don't know if he had a chance
to take some 3-D photos. The schools were closed for over a week,
so maybe! Dale?

Ottawa got it bad also, there are some 3-D photographers there.

>Thanks for the time,

Thanks for the tips on ice picks, I mean ice pics. Hope there isn't
a next time! ;-)

Gabriel, reporting from Montreal. Where its been a very dICEy week
and the snowmen had eyes of ice!
