MORE AMUSEMENT PARK 3D

In December, Post Magazine
reported that Hollywood, based
Flat Earth Productions has created
a 90 minute interactive computer
generated stereoscopic animated
film titled “Virtual Monsters”
for theme park attractions
company SNK in Tokyo. The
attraction will premiere at a theme
park in Osaka, Japan and will then
be offered to other parks
worldwide. Visitors to the
attraction, which takes place in a
haunted house type environment,
will wear 3D glasses and be issued
guns with which to "interact" with
the monsters.

Kintz. At Universal Studios,
Hollywood...the walls are up on
the west side of the 'streets of the
world' deck with 2 billboards
touting T2:3D in '99!!! They're
currently tearing down the old
beetlejuice outdoor theater!
I can hardly wait!

I wonder how Disneyland is
coming on their “Honey I Shrunk
the Audience” 3D, etc. theater?
When I was their in December,
Tommorrowland was about half
closed for construction. They did
have a small fire in the early stages
of construction, but it should not
have effected them too much.
