We have had the same problem in Cincinnati, Dave, that you have. We have
Reel 3-D's data base--which was extremely outdated and resulted in over
50 returns--for our area.  (This is done by ZIP code sorting.)  Our area
(Columbus area and all points south) lists several hundred stereo
enthusiasts but the most we've ever had at one of our meetings is about
20.  We average about 5-7 when we had our monthly meetings.

We are planning to start up again but with hopes for a little more
success but, frankly, I don't see this happening.  People are just not
interested it seems.  

However, our NSA regional meets have been fairly well attended by both
dealers and members.  We hope to have another in April with a mini
trade fair as the main draw.  Perhaps you should look at who your
regional director is and see if such an event could be organized in your
area.  Boise is a beautiful area one in which I would love to see the
NSA have their convention.  Unfortunately, the lack of members
precipates this from happening.
