*************
I just visited the Nu-View HQ -(they are located in Santa Barbara as am
I)- and was pretty impressed with the adapter and resulting video.
The resulting video - viewed with VR glasses -Theirs or recent vintage VR
gaming, etc models - showed fairly good 3d effect.
It does have slight ghosting and flicker - depending upon screen movement
and subject lighting...but nothing too major.
From my discussion with the marketing director, and viewing of the
product... the unit will work with the new digital cameras, along with hi8,
reg. 8 and the vhs's and with proper precautions,no problems in editing
should be encountered.
The unit is designed for the smaller lens diameters of newer Hi 8 cameras,
so I can't use it on my Canon A1 without stepdown rings...
The only adjustment is for convergence....
The whole system looks very easy to set up and use....and is especially
reasonably priced...
Feel free to email me with specific questions, and be sure to go to their
website for pix and specs...http://www.3-dvideo.com
