Just a note that one of these was set up and running
as part of the CSC show at OMSI last weekend. To tell
the truth, I was surprised how good it looked and was
very impressed!
Because there's a rule in photo-3D that one can't say
only nice things about a new product, the teeny bit of negative
that I'll throw in to stay within the rules has to do
with the camera's viewer. It shows the "cameraman"
overlapping dual-images. Certainly for those who
just set up the camera in front of their kid's playpen
or crib and just records for six hours (to show family
at the next get together.... sigh) it won't hurt. I
do wonder if there may be eyestrain if one looks at that
for extended periods of time. A possible enhancement could
be a synchronized LC "coin" to put over the viewer to
block out one of the two images, and pass the other.
Seems like it'd be a cheap solution. Charge another
$75 for it, in one of several models depending upon
camera.
Anyway, I loved it. Only if I didn't have to buy a
camcorder first as well.... :-)
