P3D Dan's Lincoln stereo view

I was going to send personal email to Dan Shelley to let him now that his
stereo view of the Lincoln Memorial that he so kindly sent to me to keep,
arrived safe, but it's been a while since we discussed stereo images so I
decided to post these comments in photo-3d.

This view (a similar one was used for the second APEC III exchange) is
excellent! It is printed in glossy paper with plenty of comments in the
back and it is Dan's first attempt to make rounded corners and leave a
space between R and L. IMO, it works great. I like the tight composition.
There is no wasted space. Lincoln's hand comes slight out of the window,
a nice touch. Overall, this view, taken with a Minolta Freedom-Tele 35 mm
camera and 200 ASA Kodak film, is a great example of what contemporary
print stereo photographers are capable of doing. Thanks Dan!

BTW, I regret to say that I will not be participating in APEC III after
all. A number of other activities have taken priority in my life right now
so the time-consuming (for a beginner at least) but rewarding I am sure
participation in APEC III has to wait for the future.
