And what if it doesn't?   Does anyone remember the discussions about
Sphinx's nose, some time back?  Totally unrelated subject that was
discussed in great detail until Joel stepped in, if I recall correctly.  

The question is, do you want someone to step in, in such cases and make a
call and bring the list back to order?  Or do you want these unrelated
threads to take their natural course and die from exhaustion?  

If someone is to make a call, then this call should be respected and not
debated and discussed in the list (outside the list via the list of 
3d-moderators is OK).  

I personally don't care one way or another.  I am here to stay. :-)  But
some people might actually be here to read about stereo photography and
might not like long and persisting un-3D-related threads.
