I think fractionalizing the discussion would be EXTREMELY detrimental.
Discussions could not possibly be a rich as they now are. The subject of
stereography takes in many aspects, and although not everyone is equally
interested in every tangent, they are all related. Say there is a
discussion on "C3D" about computerized stereo imagery and suddenly someone
brings up something about photographing the images. Now the discussion has
to be terminated and moved over to P3D, where many sub*scribers won't have
a hint what has gone before in the discussion, and will have to be brought
up to date ... but that means that the discussion will have to move back to
C3D... and back and forth and back and forth and ... you get the idea.
