P3D D3d? - Yes!

Even though at first I did not like this idea, the more I think
about it, the more I am in favor of the creation of a Digital-3D
list and I think this will be good for both "digitals" and
"traditionals" while it will be OK for bi-sexuals like Gabriel.

Photo-3d is a special group. As I have said before, the only
thing that we have in common is the use of a computer. The
demographics of this group are different than those of other
traditional stereo photography groups, like PSA's Stereo
Division, NSA, etc. And we are more inclined to talk about
computers than other traditional stereo photographers only
because we use computers for our communications.

There are people here that are collectors of stereo images
(some of them created more than 100 years ago), have interest
in old toys and technologies (VM, Realist, etc.) and do not
have an interest in the cutting edge of digital technology.
These people will soon lose interest if we allow involved
computer topics to dominate P3d.

Digital technology is evolving. Many of the subject discussed
now might not be around 10 years from now. Loading the Realist
will be around as long as 35 mm film is available. It is
clear to me that these two areas attract different people and,
even though there is some overlapping, the advantages in
favor of maintaining separate groups are significant to
justify this separation.

Let's give the people what they want!!!

PS. I'll subscribe in both groups but in different modes and
with different frequency of postings (which must be relief
    for D3d people :-))
