I know, I know, "me too" posts are bad form, but...

Me too!

The way I see this discussion polarizing is that those who feel
(justifiably or not) that they have been stifled on P3D when they've
attempted to provoke a discussion of digital imaging are in favor of the
new list, and those who aren't actively involved in digital imaging are
in favor of the status quo.  Seems to me that the digital folk have more
at stake and ought to win this particular argument.

I've often had the perception that the involved discussions of how to
use software program "X" to convert images to anaglyphs, or the
particular merits of JPS vs. standard JPG images were barely tolerated
on P3D.  Even if that perception is wrong, I think those who want such
discussions can only benefit from having a place where they are not only
tolerated, but encouraged.
