P3D older stereograms
Here's a message from another list which I thought *maybe* someone
might have some information on. If so, please drop a note directly
back to stc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and CC here.
THANKS

|Hi-
| Can anyone out there help me out. I have a student who is helping me
|clean up some of the long unsolved mysteries in the cabinet labeled
|"teaching examples". We came across as series of stereograms "prepared
|from USDA/AAA aerial photography by the University of Illinois Committee
|on Aerial Photography". They date between the 1930's to the mid 1950's.
|. We have a set of 402, and they seem to protray physiography for the
|most part. Not like the rural settlement set later compiled in the late
|1950's by the USDA. They must have come with a manual of some kind. But
|it seems to have gone astray from our set. While it is fun (not to
|mention time consuming) trying to figure out why they were selected, it
|would sure be helpful if someone had a copy of said list/or manual.
| Any help would be appreciated,
|
