P3D old lenticular image stability

Hello.

I am thinking of putting on display (for my Gallery NEO show) a wonderful
old transmission lenticular that I received a little while ago. It is
glass, vintage 1950/60s?, with a very long skinny incandescent bulb in the
frame to provide the backlighting.

My question relates to the durability of the emulsion (image) when such is
put on display with the light on it for many hours per day for a month!

This question applies to my slides as well. But since I plan to exhibit
dupes, their degradation through several hundred hours of illumination
doesn't bother me as much - indeed, I plan to use the show, to see just how
well the dupes' emulsions fare under these display conditions.

But the lenticular is quite a bit more valuable, and although not my own
work, it is not replaceable either.

(A little off-P3D-charter here: the long filament in this fixture for the
lent. sings! The filament, when lit, appears to vibrate at some high
frequencies, not with any great consistency, and thus emits a tiny, tinny,
little squeaky sound, more or less on a continuous basis. Sitting in my
room here, at a range of about five feet, it sounds a bit like a telephone
ringing non-stop about two or three houses down the block. Can anyone
comment on this?)

Oddly yours,

Boris
