P3D Bad deal?

I bought a Kodak Stereo camera on eBay. It arrived yesterday in poor
condition. I wrote to the seller, who has offered to refund my $82, plus
postage.
The original description is shown below with my comments. The problems
seem superficial and fixable, and the price was low. So I'm thinking of
keeping it anyway. I won't hesitate to take it apart if I keep it. Any
thoughts?

The shutter is frozen. I can eventually jiggle it, but this takes 30
seconds of fiddling.

The body is badly worn and scratched, a great deal more than "normal."
There are several places where the camera is corroded or rusted. (It
appears to have been kept in a junk box with tools or something.)
>The film transport is clean, the viewer clear,
This is true.
>One lens is clear ther lens has a spect of dust
>in it. It will not effect the focus.
Both lenses have dust in them. The right lens has seven or eight large
chips caught between the lenses. This will certainly affect the focus.
>The camera has a lens cover and a camera strap.
A lens cover was included, but no strap.
