P3D Re: 3-D CD pricing

In discussing pricing, we are overlooking on rather important point. 
There are discounts for software packages offered only on the CD as well
as prolonged tryouts.  Since I intend to buy one of the software
packages, the cost of the CD is about $5 to me, but Dan gets his $30,
and a shareware product racks up a registered sale.

I think those who are not signed up should take a close look at the
contents before passing up this deal.

As for dithering about the cost of cd media, well it is like dithering
about the cost of paper.  Who cares.  The contents are what determines
the value of a book or a cd.
