P3D IMAX 2D to 3D

I have received a couple private e-mails
on this, but it hasn't been mentioned
on the list.

In the May issue of American Cinematographer
there is an article on the 2D to 3D process for
large-format films. This week in LA attendees
at the Large Format Cinema Association's
annual conference had a chance to examine
footage from Antarctica and Grand Canyon.
These film elements have been transformed
from 2D to 3D. Mark Twain's America was
also screened in 3D.

Also, included in AC are articles on the new
IMAX film Everest.
