|If the book you happen to have is "Muybridge: Human Figure in Motion" (Dover
|Publications 1955), then check out plate 171 of a woman spanking a child.  It
|uses the multiple-cameras/same-instant-exposure method (as opposed to the
|cameras firing at different times in sequence that the large majority of his
|studies utilize).  The plate illustrates the same basic method they're using
|in these current commercials.
