Yes, quite.  And my mother has some... er...um ...of those kind of shots of
me as a baby, some done professionally.  Quite common.  Not only that, if 
you look at 50's mainstream magazines like Popular Photography, they had 
quite a lot of nudes in them.

People like to talk about the good 'ol wholesome days of "Ozzie & Harriet",
but in truth as best I can tell, there were MORE nudes in mainstream 
publications (and mother's photoalbums) back then than now.

Stranger than fiction...
