I regulary attend public transport festivities in
Europe and one day I was photographing tramcars
(or trolleys as they are known in the USA) in
Blackpool., England. A fellow photographer looked
at my camera and daid: Are you taking colour
slides and negatives with the this camera? He
thaught i had it loaded with two rolls of film!
You can smile about this remark, many of these
enthusiasts do have at least two cameras on hand
to photograph whatever they wish to shoot..

In 1976 I met a fellow VM photographer on a place
called DEVIL's BRIDGE in Wales. We talked briefly
for he had to catch the return train.
An another occaision I was shooting 3-D train
movies with my Bolex camera in London. The friend
i was staying with told me a colleage at the BBC
Television studio did use one too. So i met him
and discovered we filmed the same subjects;
trains.
