P3D TDC Projectors and AC-line cords

In the past, I've bought heavy duty appliance line
cords with the large bakelite fittings, and then
used a Dremel or similar grinder to make the
outsides fit into the TDC receptacle. This usually
works, but make sure you take a template of the
hole alignment with you so that once you're ground
the outside, the inside will fit!

PS--on the Stereomatic 500 replacement cord, I've
found that around the holidays, many stores have
green or black extention cords with a single
receptacle for non-grounding use (not the 3 or 4
way cords that are common). Take your knife and
carefully cut off the "ears" , and viola! You've
got a new ST500 cord. (These cords have become
harder to find, but sometimes an older hardware
store or "Christmas-store" will have some in
stock).
