What one should also know is that earlier C3s (S/N lower than
964482) have "M" sync and can't use electronic flash even with a jack
adapter because the shutter will open after the flash is over. There
was an adapter with an electronic delay device inside, but its about as
scarce as Belplascas nowadays/
Later C3s (S/N 964482 onward) have "X" sync, your only concern
should be making a physical connection. CAUTION: Some electronic
flashes have high voltage across the flash connector and the C3 has
metal body parts, shock is possible.

This same lens appeared on Arguses other that the C3, most notably
the C2.

Not all versions of the C3 have this, the C3 changed style a number
of times, the last even had an olive/khaki twotone body and the shutter
speed marked in light value increments instead of shutter speed!
