P3D If you only ever read one 3D-CD note, this one should be it...

  • From: Dan Shelley <dshelley@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
  • Subject: P3D If you only ever read one 3D-CD note, this one should be it...

Many people have asked, so I have compiled a COMPLETE list of the
contents of the 3D CD - see below all the other 3D-CD details - AND,
note that there are a lot of things on the 3D-CD you can't just go out
and find on the web.

At this point, I am about half way through production of the CD based on
the current orders. So there is still time for those of you with
questions to join in the project. Is is important to remember that once
I stop making discs, I am done... The only way you will be able to the a
3D-CD is on the secondary market - I will not be making any more.

The instructions to start using the 3D-CD are on the label I am making
for the CD. "Place this CD in yor CD Drive and start your browser. Then
load START.HTM. Enjoy!" That is all there is to it. Everything is
incorporated in to a giant (600+MB) web site on the CD. All you need to
know how to do is browse to use 90% or more of what is on the CD. The
other 10% or so is shareware, browsers and browser plug-ins that are
there for your convenience. Most of the shareware is not Mac compatible,
but the CD is, and has been tested on several different Mac machines..
(Even a Unix machine...) =)

The 3D-CD is $30 US plus $3 US shipping for a Priority Mail box. For
that cost you get the CD full of goodies, 3 pair of 3D glasses
(red/green anaglyph - red/blue anaglyph - chromadepth), a lenticular
(non-3D) image, and your personal code to use to get the $25 discount on
the included 3D Stereo Image Factory program. Payment can be made with
checks or money orders as long as funds are in US funds. If you live in
a foreign country, I can let you know the postage rate to you in a
personal e-mail. From foreign countries, I would be glad to accept your
real currency at a cost of an extra $2 US, anmd I will convert the money
to US $'s here.

E-mail me privately if you want to be added to the list of 3D-CD
recepients. Then, send your payment in to:

Dan Shelley
2441 Ranch Lane
Colorado Springs, CO 80198

CD's are being created and mailed out in the order that payments are
received.

The 3D-CD contains the following 3D stuff in about 20,000 files which
take up about 608 MB of space:

- - - - - - - -

A preview of the Bill Walton CD (the next 3D-CD project if there is
enough interest).
