In theory, pornography is illegal to view or possess. It has become a
"loaded" word which also means what some people would like to make
illegal to view or possess. For example, a number of groups in North
America consider Playboy pornographic even though it is sold in most
magazine stands throughout hte country.

Playboy and other such magazines and material is generally only "adult"
material, meaning such material should be only sold to adults.

If this makes no sense, well it probably doen't, as (to me) censorship
has little benefit weighted against the dangers.

To give you an example of how censorship varies, in the United States,
bondage and pictures of the activity are not subject to censorship. In
Canada, they are, as they are deemed to portray involuntary sexual
activity. The real problem is that in Canada, the enforcement is very
lax, sometimes to the point of being suspiciously selective. That is
one reason why I consider censorship dangerous.
