P3D Nishika format, coke bottle 3-d mouse pad, 3-d camera photo

NISHIKA FORMAT

Make that 17perf not 16perf. Yes, the Nimslo/Nishika format has an extra
perf between groups of 4-perf images to help with the lenticular printing
process. See my AutoCad drawings:

http://www.ultranet.com/~copley/StereoNE/slidefmt.html

Unfortunately, this makes it difficult to get normal 4x6 prints made of
pairs of images because of the irregular spacing. I found this out when I
taped off the center pair of lenses on my Nishika and asked the processor
to print the pairs on 4x6 paper. There was a white space between the
images, and they fell off the paper at the ends.

My advise: Take out the weight in the bottom, it is there just to make the
camera feel expensive. Stick to 4-lens lenticular prints. Or tape off the
center two lenses and find a friendly photofinisher who will give you
wallet sized prints (vertical) of the outer frames. Then mount them with
2.7 to 3.0" spacing on 3.5 x 7.0" cards.

This camera has one advantage over the Nimslo, you can manually set the
aperture to f/19 for flash photos with good depth of field. The Nimslo
takes the flash photos wide open.

COKE BOTTLE CAP MOUSE PAD

I bought a 3-d mouse pad from the Micro Center in Cambridge, MA. It is the
normal 1/8" thick but appears to be about 3/4" thick. The bottle caps are
on the surface suspended over diagonal black & white stripes. I can't
figure out how it is done. Anyone?

3-D CAMERA PHOTO COLLECTION

I am still adding to my photo collection now up to 19. I ran across a
Voigtlander stereflekscop 45x107mm plate camera yesterday at a camera show
in Woburn, MA and the dealer was nice enough to let me photo it with my
digital camera. See:

RHINO HOME 3-D VIDEOS

I have three of these and so for cannot find a single scene that is in 3-d.
There are brief scenes with double images in red and blue, but it seems to
have been done by double printing the same image with a horizontal offset.
Can anyone direct me to a scene that is truly in 3-d?

The titles are: Cat Women on the Moon 3-d, Robot Monster, & The Mask.

This appears to me to be a rip-off.
