Andrea,
I've used one of the pretty standard 'hot shoe to PC converters' that
you can find at your local photo shop for about $1 in the junk-box
and filed a 'slot' in the bottom after which it nicely fits my 'old'
Revere with the 'bump' in the hot shoe.
>>>According to the original Revere instruction manual (which came with my
camera), The Revere flash is the B*C Flash Model 24. Haven't seen or
heard of one around yet, but I keep looking.<<<
Actually I've one of those flashes. It came with my second (newer) Revere
complete wiyh flashbulb. This model 24 fits both of my Reveres.
It has a strange 'raised' foot with a 'bump' as well but it fits nicely
both my 'old' and 'new' Revere.
To make things clear again, I've an old an a new Revere. See digest #2708
for a comparison. If you want I can send it to your personel mailbox.

I also always keep the case on my camera's : Revere, Realist, VM Color.
The only one that is case-less is the Kodak Stereo.
Thanks for your time,
Cheers,
