Seeing the high serial number of Peter's  2nd Revere I conclude he has a
German/American product.AM I RIGHT? Toward the end of the 50's Revere
farmed out the shutter and lens manufaturing to Germany who did a lot of
redesigning on it. Peter can't you find somewhere on the camera "Made in
Germany"?.

Until now I did not read somewhere that the Enna Chromar lenses would
perform better than the Amaton (or worse). (In my opinion there are only
2 brands of lenses on the Reveres)
