P3D optics question

I have what I think is a simple question, but since I know nothing about
optics, I might be wrong.

I'd like to make a stereo macro camera, with just one big SLR-sized lens.
I'd place a pair of fixed apertures behind this lens, separated by a
septum. It would look something like this, from above:

one lens llllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
one shutter ssssssssssssssssssssssssss
one lens llllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
two apertures x | x
                               |
                               |
septum |
                               |
film chips left right

The reason I am asking is that I am having trouble finding good lenses with
mounts. I can fabricate the rest of what I need, but the lens mounts are
the problem. If I could buy an unlimites supply of Nimslos, I'd be fine.

Tom
