Why? Well, first of all, curiosity. After all, VM really was the first
3D I'd ever been exposed to although I never really thought about it.
Next, because my kids think it's neat. And they can view seven scenes
in one reel rather than a single slide in a realist viewer.
And finally, curiosity. I've already made 2x2 pairs. It's what got me
hooked on 3D in the first place. And, I've done some side by side
"cards" with some of the cheapo side-by-side viewers you can buy. I've
also used the View Magic over/under viewer along with disposable print
cameras mounted on a bar. Then my experimentation with a Realist loaner
camera finally leading to my purchase of my current Kodak stereo. So,
about the only format left is VM. I'm not out to clip ALL my realist
chips down to VM size. I just want to see what it looks like.
Hope this helps explain my motivations in this area.
Ron
