It seems to fit well on most Sony models, unless they are
designed differently for the UK. The big difference is
the noticeable flicker that you get with the slower
refresh of PAL, 50hz compared to NTSC's 60hz. The effect is
a 25 frame per second image. The flicker is not too bad with
NTSC but I have heard that it is much more pronounced on a
PAL system. I understand that some video equipment in Europe
can switch between NTSC and PAL, is that true of the more
recent models of televisions (TV screen)?
