P3D Stereo Cameras

Forgive me if this topic has been discussed a zillion times before.  I'm
trying to get some ideas of which cameras to look for along my travels and
at the NSA trade fair...so here are the questions:

1. What are your favorite cameras based on picture quality, ease of use,
durability, etc.
2. If you could only own one stereo camera, which one would it be?
