Strange things happen on eBay sometimes.  I once saw a 1960's folding
Polaroid, (a Model 240 if I recall correctly) for which someone had bid in
excess of $50.  I have several of these and have never paid more than $3
for any of them.

A few weeks ago I saw a Viewmaster with a minimum bid of $5.  It turned out
to be the current red plastic model - the one you can buy new in the box at
Toys 'R Us for $3.99.  I see these at thrift stores priced between 25 and
75 cents every week.  Not surprisingly, no one had bid on it.
