Yes, John, I stopped and shot some photos of the "Mexican Hat" rock
formation too. It looks just like an upturned sombrero but is hard to get
close enough to to get in good stereo. But there are also some great
striated cliffs in the background.
A correction too on the Goosenecks of the San Juan. They are "entrenched
meanders" not "meaners" as posted!
Again, great country to see on the north side of Monument Valley. I'm
already planning a trip back this winter when the sun will be nicer!
