P3D Realist Skips shots

After my TDC Colorist II went in for repair I bought a Realist 3.5 at a
garage sale.  It seemed to work OK except it seemed to run through the
roll much too quickly.  I thought maybe it jammed 1/2 of the way through
a 36 exposure roll.  But when I finally developed the film it seemed
that it advanced 2 exposures instead of one between shots, which
explained why it ran through the roll so quickly.  The resultant film
had 2 exposures slightly overlapped followed by to unexposed frames
followed by the other sides of the pairs. Is this repairable or should I
sell it as a parts camera?  Thanks.
