P3D Re: Transposed and Pseudo
My thanks to Gabriel and Peter--the remounted Nimslo slides look a
lot better!
FWIW, now that I can properly evaluate the closeups, I find that I actually
prefer the #1-#3 pair for a +1 closeup lens (28"), but the difference
is not so much that I'm going to go out and buy a larger-diameter
closeup lens set (my 49mm barely covered the distance from #1 to #3,
and caused some vignetting--O.K. for my test shot) and drill out
another adapter ring! The #1-#3 shot is actually a little hyper IMHO,
but I tend to like closeups that way.
Using #1 and #2 for all closeups will simplify matters, and I can still
use the same closeup lenses (and filters) that I have for my Olympus OM-10!
I'm looking forward to getting a +4 or something stronger and shooting
flowers--perhaps stack a +2 and a +3, or combine one of them with a +4--
I guess it depends on the size of the flower.
