After further examination it seems that the camera is missing a very small
screw  under the rewind knob

One of my theories is that this may decrease the tension on the take-up
spool and cause it to not completely roll over the sprocket advance thing to
stop the film.  If I use my finger to put some tension on the rewind knob
while I am winding it it seems to work OK. My other theory would be that the
tension plate in the removable back of the camera has no spring left.  It
has an adjustment but it seems as if has been adjusted as far as it will go.
It seems that the problem is not in the guts of the camera but in the part
that allows for the film to advance the sprocket thingee.


Any one know where to get a replacement for that screw?

BTW this is my not my first 3D camera but is my first Realist... :^)
