P3D Slide scanners

I have started reading up on slide scanners.

Has anyone played with a few different models to see which will take
an RBT mount. It seems all need caddies for film strips but I was wondering
which need caddies for mounted slides and whether they are built to take only
2x2 mounts or if they are flexible enough to handle stereo mounts.
(For scanners that normally take a singler 2x2 mount I'm not too bothered if 
I need to scan the left image the right way up and the right image upside down
and rotate it through software).

I am particularly interested in the 'Minolta Dimage Scan Dual'
