On the other hand, that makes me considerably more confident about learning
to mount for projection. If 5% vertical misalignment (five percent of image
height) can be tolerated by the audience, then surely I can manage better
than that. :-)

I found that tilting my head corresponding to the direction of misalignment
sometimes helped to reduce eyestrain. Te majority of the slides that were
reasonably well lined up looked very nice on the big screen.
