P3D What To Do When You're Not In Richmond...

I'm happy to report that my 3D show at the World Pornography Conference,
titled "Backstage: Pornography and Exotic Dance in Three Dimensions," went
over quite well, considering the complete lack of advertising on the part of
the convention staff. More than 40 people attended, including four or five
from local stereo clubs like SCSC, and for about 45 minutes, I showed slides
I'd taken over the past two years on porn production sets and at dance clubs.

As many compliments as I got for the show, I did learn several things:
1) Always have background music. It saves having to talk about every slide,
and makes the segues between slide sets a bit easier to take.
2) Always make sure every slide has the little dot in the corner, even if
you're showing them all yourself and have them in order (which, actually, I
didn't because the box fell open as I was packing it.) Some slides got shown
originally upside down.
3) Get the least wrinkly screen you can find. My audience didn't notice it
that much, but _I_ did.
