Which is why Red and Cyan (not Green) are used. A color and it's complement
will give you all the colors. The old Technicolor two strip cameras ran with
Red and Cyan dichroics, for example. The colors Red and Cyan were chosen, as
opposed to, say, green and magenta, or blue and yellow, is because Red and
Cyan pass more nearly the same amounts of light.
