P3D Re: colored lenses in each eye

The discussion on colored lenses reminded me of a couple of things
totally unrelated to 3D, but I just had to share...

First, I had gone in to my optomitrist for my lens checkup just after
receiving my new pair of contacts.  As I signed in, the receptionist
just stood there and stared at me.  After about a minute or so, I
finally noticed that she was wearing one blue contact and one brown
contact.  It really was kinda bizzarre.

Next, I've recently seen an ad sign in our local Walmart's optical
department advertising "silly contacts".  These have funky patterns like
spirals and star bursts and other nonsense on the lenses.

At least if you had a red/blue pair you would know which eye they go in!
